Professional labor photographer. Unions for all. Birds. Whales. Cats. Hydration. Maybe a dash of democratic socialism. Not necessarily in that order. Too much optimism for the current moment.

Cute content skeeted often, not with the news cycle

Our enemies are cowards and we're going to defeat them.
Do not assume that everything they set out to do is inevitable. They have been successfully fought on multiple fronts, from courtroom wins that have actually stuck to city and state governments that haven't backed down, to activists in the streets organizing against their violence.
It's a beautiful day to organize the working class 🥰

There's a simple way to not separate a mother from her child when she shows up to a government meeting.

ICE agents chose otherwise.
“We’ve tried to not have to do it, but we've got direct orders,” the masked ICE agents told them www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/i...

Good morning, Bluesky.

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse [name redacted]’s tardiness today. Her obsessive mother could not tear herself away from the sunrise.

Dumb question: do rats crawl? Or better, do people THINK rats crawl? Or are they more a scamper? General rat based narrative question.

Pretty wild I've captured 2 of the prettiest scenes in my life the past 2 weeks
Earlier in the year I drove 9600 miles to do Milky Way photography.

Between that, work, my health, and the terrors, I'm exhausted.

I promised myself no more trips over 100 miles from home for the year, unless critical for the union.

I broke that promise Saturday.

Worth it.

Final version. 🪶

We think about what dinosaurs might have looked like but what if half of them looked like this?
From last June: for a week or so a group of surf scoters were chilling on the sand in Moss Landing, CA. It's a rarity for surf scoters, but they seemed perfectly fine. And hilarious. Look at those clown ass feet and faces! #birds

Took a detour on my way home from the city today to look for snowy owls and lucked into one just before sunset. They're such beautiful birds. #birds 🌿

Baristas at Starbucks aren’t getting enough hours to pay the bills or qualify for benefits. It’s time for Starbucks executives to bring forth new proposals that address
@sbworkersunited.org demands so unionized baristas can all move forward. #NoContractNoCoffee

Well I'll be damned. Guess we're posting good tonight!
Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Scene: Thanksgiving at Grandma's, entire family present (70+ppl), all us cousins are playing outside. My cousin Robbie throws a football, it goes wild, and smacks Aunt Sue straight in the face. Breaks her nose. An important fact about Aunt Sue is she is the most miserable, horrible, awful, 🧵
