The waves were no issue when lying down in the cabin, which was very comfy! Shops onboard were bigger than Stena Line ferries, with ok cafes/bars

Arriving off a TGV in Hendaye, I transferred to the @euskotren for Donostia. What a lovely chance to dip my toes in the Atlantic! This was in September - if I have anything to say about it, it won't be my last time going #FlightFree to Euskadi :D

After going to San Sebastian and Bilbao earlier this year flight-free, my journey continued through the countryside of Euskadi, to Zaragoza with ALSA, and on to high speed AVE trains, ending up in Girona. A flight home, but a great journey with a whole lot fewer emissions!

This might be Train X Europe, but why not show a little of the US from my last trip? The Northeast Corridor has the best travel experiences in the country for visitors, not least the gargantuan NYC subway
