2 weeks, 2000+ bulk finds, ≈140 small finds, 60ish contexts, 3 trenches, 2 buildings, and 180ish years of archaeology later my first ever dig as site director concluded today!

Thanks to my amazing team of supervisors and all the volunteers for making the Sackville Gardens Community dig so amazing!

Was at two of these today and despite over 100 staff and students demanding the University resolutely support trans people, it is very clear the Uni wishes to "both sides" trans rights and give space for bigots to be part of the group deciding how to implement segregation at the Uni.
