Extraordinary advance in technology, my Alma Mater too, the medical school was opened a couple of years before I started. Fantastic 5 years of my life.

Just made a meatloaf for dinner. I'm a traditionalist and put boiled eggs down the centre. Ages ago, on a whim, I bought an egg pricker in a $2 shop. Used it for the first time today and I've never deshelled a boiled egg easier in my life! Game changer, get one!

Spent the morning having a great time with Bonnie Pink. Got to admit to being a bit obsessed with some Jpop since I lived there for a couple of years. Bonnie sings in both Japanese and English, love this choon! youtu.be/qe5pN-xMnPo

Changed the water over from rainwater tank to mains (chlorinated river water) yesterday to do loads of washing and the car. Swapped it back but didn't flush the pipes. Just filled and boiled the kettle, kitchen now smells like a fetid swamp, disgusting!

I'm trying to read the morning news but someone is sprawled out and snoring his chops off!

The Pussy Enigma
An occasional series

My cats get biccies in two identical gravity feeders that hold about 2Kg of kibble each. They're side by side. The left one is always emptied first. Being cunning I swapped them around. Low and behold what had been left and is now right was emptied first.

Been scrolling through the Grammy award nominations for 2025/6. Is it telling that I haven't heard of 99% of the nominees nor heard one choon from any of them and by the looks of it have absolutely no desire to change that?

Been up for a few hours. Made a second coffee so now I'm doing pussy tetris to get all four settled on my knee again. Harry has to be closest and touching skin, he doesn't make it easy!

Todays podcast. The astonishing story of when Munchausen by proxy spirals out of control. Dupes celebrities, stalks them on thwitter and has tragic consequences for a young woman. A mother out of control. Recommended!

Look at the size of this beauty!

Todays podcast. Devoured this in one sitting. So well presented, I'm not surprised it's won a swathe of rewards around the globe. Gobsmacking outcome.

Not a care in the world. Harry and Bear have been asleep for hours. Meaghan is asleep between my legs. Trspped!

Today's podcast. Well this wasn't quite what I expected. Certainly didn't end the way I imagined. Thin ere sure are some damaged people wandering the planet. Quite impelling overall.

A Colorado judge on Monday rejected the plea agreement of a funeral home owner accused of stashing nearly 190 decaying bodies in a bug-infested building after family members of the deceased argued that the agreement’s 15- to 20-year sentence was too lenient. https://to.pbs.org/4nxvivT

I love this for him, gauche and greed over grace and gentility.

What me, recluse? Never! My October timeline shows I travelled a total of 90km, considering the 'big' shopping centre is 45 km away that means I left the property once!

I've got all three boys on the arm of the sofa. Here's Harry upside down squashed under Bear. He couldn't care less as long as he can sleep!

Fair pleased with my new stainless steel thermal mug. Holds half a litre, coffee still hot after about an hour. That was the plan!

Made the mistake of buying some 'Seafood Delight' biccies instead of 'Meaty Bites' for the cats, just opened it and they're not happy! Lots of turned up noses and scratching the floor. Well children, its a 10Kg bag so suck it up or go on a diet. Gratitude, honestly!7

I find it hard to believe that this album is coming up for 20 years old! (Bent Intercept!). Still on my high rotation.
