Retired medical scientist. Stitcher for over 60 years, will use here to show the world my artworks. (don't call it craft!) Live at the end of the mighty Murray, ex Sydney, Tokyo, New York & Munich over the years. Cat lover, eclectic bird dad too.
Just made a meatloaf for dinner. I'm a traditionalist and put boiled eggs down the centre. Ages ago, on a whim, I bought an egg pricker in a $2 shop. Used it for the first time today and I've never deshelled a boiled egg easier in my life! Game changer, get one!

I'm trying to read the morning news but someone is sprawled out and snoring his chops off!

Been up for a few hours. Made a second coffee so now I'm doing pussy tetris to get all four settled on my knee again. Harry has to be closest and touching skin, he doesn't make it easy!

Todays podcast. The astonishing story of when Munchausen by proxy spirals out of control. Dupes celebrities, stalks them on thwitter and has tragic consequences for a young woman. A mother out of control. Recommended!

They're not stupid, look ! gaudy things, he's like a moth to the flame. And then they'll invest in stable civilised countries.

Todays podcast. Devoured this in one sitting. So well presented, I'm not surprised it's won a swathe of rewards around the globe. Gobsmacking outcome.

Not a care in the world. Harry and Bear have been asleep for hours. Meaghan is asleep between my legs. Trspped!

Remember when the US president wasn't a whiny little b*tch?

Today's podcast. Well this wasn't quite what I expected. Certainly didn't end the way I imagined. Thin ere sure are some damaged people wandering the planet. Quite impelling overall.

I love this for him, gauche and greed over grace and gentility.

He is just champing at the bit to install something just like his Nth Korean idol so all his MAGA have somewhere to genuflect in divine reverence.j

I've got all three boys on the arm of the sofa. Here's Harry upside down squashed under Bear. He couldn't care less as long as he can sleep!

Fair pleased with my new stainless steel thermal mug. Holds half a litre, coffee still hot after about an hour. That was the plan!

I find it hard to believe that this album is coming up for 20 years old! (Bent Intercept!). Still on my high rotation.

I gave Harry a bollocking earlier for walking all over my touchscreen PC and mucking up my design. He knew and disappeared for an hour. Now look who's back and clinging onto my arm, very contrite and looking for pats.

Been having a wander round the back paddock. I have a row of 10 pepper trees about 100 years old. They're in full bloom and alive with bees. Excited to report I have blue banded bees! They're solitary but live in 'villages' burrowed into mud. Need to put water out for them.

Beautiful spring afternoon, 24°C. Just been out with the feathered kids doing treats of corn cobs and apples. Happy to report one of last years sleepy lizard kids (blue tongue) was out lurking under Kai's cage munching on chicken pellets, so cute, I hope mum and dad are still around too.

All my calistemon trees are in full bloom, I've planted dozens, and the wattle birds have moved in for a feed. Their distinctive loud 'yac a yac' calls are a magnet for the pussies who've been camped on the windowsills all day.
