Most people that I’ve seen argue for price increases don’t consider that a lot of gamers just can’t afford that for every game on top of the DLC and micro transactions.

From what I remember the voice actors withholding their work from hoyoverse was because of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

But the VAs didn’t actually work for SAG-AFTRA, so a lot of people saw it as more performative than anything else.

That or I’m thinking of something else

First time this guy has ever made me laugh

Comedian Tim Dillon said on his podcast last month that he signed up for financial reasons.
He said he had been offered "a large sum of money" - $375,000 for one performance - and said that other comedians had been offered as much as $1.6 million. He told his detractors to "get over it," adding, "So what if they have slaves, they're paying me enough to look the other way."
But in an episode of the Tim Dillon Podcast last week, the comedian announced he'd been removed from the lineup for the comments he made about the country's record on slavery.

Generally I’m pretty “death of the author” because I don’t really see the fun in getting the answer to a lore question directly from a creator of something I like

I prefer to speculate with info I’m already given or just wait for the franchise to give me a more direct answer
