Does anyone in the UK have Pitfall II for the Atari 8 bit on cartridge? I had this back in the day, but it seems to be unicorn poop nowadays.

Anyone on here have an Atari XF551 for sale?

Well, they've started handing out water. That can't be a good sign 🤦

Brussels airport security makes Luton airport passport control look efficient... and Luton airport is a shit-show on wheels
September 18, 2025 at 8:06 AM
Still in the Brussels airport passport queue. Been an hour so far 🧐

Brussels airport; 200+ non EU passport holders, one bored and slightly surly passport checker, and a line to end all lines. I'm gonna be here a looooong time

I have about 15x Core i5 desktop machines (just generic models) with at least 8GB RAM available for any Charities out there. Have cleared them down. Anyone interested?

Civil war has re-broken out. Not entirely surprised.

f**k you @bsky.app and your sh*tty age verification system - it doesn't bloody work - apparently my face isn't good enough (even though I had to shove my face deep into my webcam's guts) and my card isn't to your liking!!

I am NOT going to keep adding Credit Card details into a system I don't trust

Looking on Amazon for privacy screens, and there's a bunch of "360 degree" privacy filters. Firstly I think the back of the screen is pretty much covered, secondly... how do YOU view the screen?

Great day at #RetroFest yesterday. Even found a copy of an RM Nimbus educational software that I developed with NCEC back in the 80s 😊

This morning on #Radio4 I heard somebody refer to J.R.R. Tolkien as "J Double-R Tolkien".

What the actual feck?!

New to the Oric Atmos, any experts out there who can help a n00b? Options for connecting to a composite CRT? Also advice on SD loaders, etc?
May 7, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Definitely going to be here on the Saturday. Can't wait!
It's only FOUR WEEKS to go until RetroFest. Our exhibitors are slaving away to get their machines ready - and what better way to test them than displaying our logo! Tickets are selling fast, so we recommend buy one in advance if you can - www.retrofest.uk/tickets.php

This evening I am mostly deploying three new Azure Virtual Desktop servers into our Production pool, and upgrading our ERP databases.

What's life without a little danger and challenge?

Dear work colleagues, although Outlook now (apparently) gives you the ability to "react" to emails with emoji, please don't. Just don't.

This evening I am mostly updating my #Atari #8bit with SpartaDOS X 4.50 and the latest #Fujinet firmware and tools.

Oh this is genius!
Wholesome Linux experience.

Currently I am upgrading my server, deepthought, from Fedora 41 to 42 in the most Retro way I can ^_^

Just won an Oric Atmos on eBay. Never owned one in the day, I was, however, one of those annoying kids in the 80s doing BASIC programs in the stores that ZAP'd at annoying intervals.

Can't wait to have a play, was always drawn to how handsome this was as a device. Genuinely excited to have a play

Anyone else unable to install #Fedora 42 #Cosmic - Laptop keeps shutting down as it boots the ISO. Any help would be appreciated.
