I wasn't a speccy lad back in the 80s, but I always considered the Spectrum to have the most distinctive look for its games and one that still stands up to this day.

Mine was an Atari 800XL which my dad bought me for Christmas back in 1980-something. Was a bit of a weird decision as Commodore had a factory here in Corby so were WAY cheaper.

Generally, in the UK, W.H. Smiths was the place to go. However I had an Atari 800XL in the 80s and these weren't super common in the UK, so I have to travel to Northampton to A. Watts & Sons... which was a furniture store 0_o

Yep, I had at various stages both internal and external zip drives. The one thing that still brings me out in a cold sweat was the "click of death" 😱

I tend to speed through the first one, and go in reverse for the second... they cancel each other out that way ^_^
