I had a lovely evening at Pickering Book Tree the other week, reading from The Blue of You and chatting with the wonderful Clare Almond about all things writerly. Thanks also to Andrew and Steph, and to the stoic audience who came out despite the torrential rain and high winds!

I'm always thrilled to see The Blue of You out in the field, and here is the lovely Motoko with her dog Chee, reading it whilst on a trip to Gora, Hakone!

As well as The Blue of You being recommended by a reviewer as an ideal stocking filler - Christmas setting and under a tenner! - my writing has been likened to that of both Claire Keegan and Anne Tyler! That's far too generous, but I'm taking it!
