Looking for a good ghost story?
One of my favorites is this early 70's British made TV film, THE STONE TAPE.
Written by Nigel Kneale, who knows a thing or two about keeping things creepy, it is a perfect watch for spooky season.

You might get a kick out of that one. A little lesser known gem that was easily eclipsed by the release of Hammer's DRACULA that same year.

Yeah… I’ve always liked them too. I still have my toy one that was released decades ago by whoever did them then. That and the phaser. Good looking toys, but these are amazing!

Cool to see Christopher Lee and Boris Karloff together, but it’s unfortunate that the story isn’t worthy of their talents. It’s almost there, but it feels very well worn and I’m not sure the ending really works.

Premier episode “The Inheritance.” Characters are introduced, premise is revealed and the briefest of problems solved.

Probably #2 after The Abyss and before Deep Star Six.

Like others here, I enjoy them all, but they are each their own thing despite them all being reactionary to the others.
This one has Amanda Pays, which is a definite plus, but honestly the whole cast is pretty stellar.

A shame that Christopher Lee was already synonymous with Dracula and couldn’t play this vampire. He’d of been brilliant and it would have given him something to do besides look menacing.
