I would hardly consider myself an expert on Greenland, but I have learned a lot about the people, their culture, the history, land, politics, and much more. Few things leave me more furious than hearing MAGAts repeating false talking points and acting as if they knew it was inhabited before Trump.

Many years ago I remember listening to Rush Limbaugh talk about the Democrat party at the time. I want to say this was around the time Bush got re-elected. The jist of his discussion was that the Democrats had revealed themselves as liberals, and they would never recover from that.

The reason ICE goes after so many high schools is they're pissed that those kids made it further than them.

Last night I read the comment section of a song by an Irish punk band with the hook "fuck all Nazi scum" in which most commenters were debating the band being liberal or conservative. The commenters' understanding of those words aside, I'd say most of them missed the plot of the song and punk music.

It's interesting to hear someone defend ICE because they have family in law enforcement. It's even more interesting to see their face when they try to compare it to negative things said about the military and you respond "the only thing worse than a dirty cop is a dirty service member."

I've seen a lot of people trying to downplay ICE by comparing it to what is occurring in Iran. When they do this, they're revealing they would protesters be handled here how they would be handled there.

When this is over, if we survive as a nation, I hope we don't forget that most of the Democrats in Washington need to go too.

For no particularly reason I sometimes wonder if there were any German service members watching what was happening around them and struggling to cope mentally with the question of whether or not they could or should make it to retirement. Again, no particular reason.

In a decent country, none of this would be possible.

After this semester is complete I am eager to never take another ethics class again.

Every time I redeem the $10 coupon I received to go use an EVGO charger I'm reminded why I never use EVGO chargers.

I just discovered that GM put the Denali nameplate on an SUV and it looks just as dumb as anyone that tries to call Denali "Mount McKinley".

People will argue that you can't compare American homelessness to homelessness in Scandinavian countries as if homeless people just manifest here and it's not a symptom of systemic failures.

The closer I get to the end of the semester, the more ready I am to... Spend four weeks watching hundreds of YouTube videos with the intention of taking four CLEPs on US and western civilization history.

Majoring in a climate and energy related topic gives you an opportunity to look at a lot of graphs about public opinion. No matter what the topic, the politically independent 35-54 group almost always finds its way to 50%.

My home state's governor's Facebook page is inundated with people demanding that he do his job and vote to reopen the government. Reminder: these people vote.

Between Monday's elections and Nancy Pelosi announcing her retirement the Democrats are on quite the winning streak at the moment.

I am a naturally pessimistic person as it pertains to American politics. While last night's major races seem to show a positive trend, I also look at details I find concerning. Andrew Cuomo, despite prior sexual harassment cases, took 41% of the vote in NYC. How did that many people vote for him?
