animation is like the act of carrying rocks across an entire valley and then smashing them up into bits then blending them into a smoothie and then showing all the cool cats your super cool 5 trillion mL vat of cool drink. It's a deeply beautiful and human artform enhanced by the arduousness.

I think I found a Blewit mushroom but I'm not confident at all lol. I don't think it was very purple but I don't remember! The lighting was not great.
But I saw a squirrel eating one, it was pretty cute.

If you're interested in more Itoi facts and info, I can recommend enough giving the EarthBound episodes of Game Center CX a watch, as well as reading the book "Ask Iwata" for a glimpse into the kind of person Itoi is, especially in regards to his friendships and compassion. Otherwise, follow me~
I somehow always forget that Shigesato Itoi, creator of Mother/EarthBound, has been arrested numerous times for protesting against police brutality and for progressive changes to the establishment in Japan's government.
