@cardiffcouncil.bsky.social what a coincidence that where you cut down the "diseased trees" in Bute Park happens to coincide with one of the entrances to the Blackweir festival you consulted literally no one on.

While, at the same time, their One Planet Cardiff strategy aims to expand the city’s tree canopy by 25% by 2030. Sacrificing mature trees in '25 won't contribute to it & new saplings won't cut it. The asset value, ecosystem benefits & replacement value of mature urban trees must be accounted for.
