So one thing I've noticed in that recent prompt about what movie would you force Hollywood to make, is that most people seem to be suggesting sequels. I find that depressing. You have the chance to create something new, and you'd go for a sequel. No wonder we are where we are now.

I feel like it's time, once again, to celebrate METRO, a movie I adore and that, for a moment in time, it made me excited about Eddie Murphy finally entering an action movie phase. Of course, that never truly happened, but at least I'll always have this movie.

It's probably too late for it now, but I always wanted to see that Eddie Murphy vs Van Damme desert action movie, SANDBLAST that was supposed to come out in '96 or '97. I'm still angry it never materialized, even though it was officially announced back then.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Anyway, cool things that 18yo has shared with me about her job--she was telling me that she's struck up a friendship with four other Muslims (crew and another performer) and they'll often designate a musalla when they work together. And, uh, yeah, I thought that was very sweet.

Yes, it's no secret that 18yo decided to pursue a career in porn. I've never tried to hide it because it's nothing to be ashamed of, and she's excited and proud of her work, and so I'm proud of her. But coming into my mentions like this? Yeah, that's pretty creepy. Don't do this.

15yo is gonna start working at a law firm in January--only 10 hours a week, but she's excited about it! And 18yo is having a blast with her new career in L.A. and, honestly, I could not be happier for them. It feels like maybe I've been doing something right these past few years.
