The Trump Administration is destroying so much of our country, and doing so illegally.

But when we win in the midterms, it won’t be enough just to fight back against the GOP.

We also have to build a better future at the same time.

Doing both will require the right people. That’s why I’m running.

What happened in Minneapolis wasn’t law enforcement. It was murder. Prosecute them. Strip their immunity. Get them the hell out of our communities.

9 Republicans just broke rank to back the Dems effort to revive ACA subsidies that lower healthcare costs for millions.

Surely Kevin "Lowing Healthcare Costs" Kiley crossed party lines and voted for this, right?

Oh...

Abolishing ICE and prosecuting its members is the only way out of this disaster.

Support candidates who are committed to that goal.

I am.

Trump’s renewed focus on Greenland will not satiate his hunger for new territory.

It is not too alarmist to think he may try his “Canada/Mexico 51st State” nonsense again.

He has committed many crimes, but attacking and subjugating allies would rank among the worst possible.

He must be stopped.

Fire danger is an enormous risk everywhere in California, and climate change is making it worse.

Fire service investment is critical. We are fighting a never ending war against the flames here; the State of California is responding appropriately.

We need the federal government to do the same.
> @governor.ca.gov Gavin Newsom has doubled the size of @calfire.bsky.social

He’s 10x the budget of vegetation management

CA now has the largest civilian firefighting fleet in the world

We have communities’ backs in this recovery process while Trump has turned his back

I grew up with PBS shows. This one hurts.

When we win power back, we will need to build a bigger, better public media infrastructure than ever before. That will be a hard task, but Americans of all ages deserve our commitment to the task.

He doesn’t know what to do. He doesn’t have a plan. He wants everyone else in the world to bend to his will, and he’ll kill to get his way, but he doesn’t actually know how to solve anything.

Donald Trump is the most dangerous man alive. Impeach him and his cronies now, before it gets even worse.
Trump in a single gaggle on Air Force One just threatened:

-- a second strike against Venezuela
-- Cuba
-- Mexico
-- Colombia
-- Iran
-- Greenland (which in turn would be an attack on the EU and Denmark)

Another day, another unconstitutional war from Trump, who thinks the Constitution is a suggestion. Congress has war powers but GOP cowards are hiding under their desks while he kills with our money. MAGA promised peace, delivered chaos. Americans deserve better. Nov 2026 can’t come soon enough.
January 3, 2026 at 12:36 PM
The American people didn’t vote for this.
Congress has not approved this.
The President and his goons have no clear strategy.
Occupations are hard, dangerous, bloody work, with a price in American lives.
War against #Venezuela is a catastrophically bad move and wildly illegal.

Impeach him. Now.

Good. Let’s do this for all of Trump’s orders as well when we win.
I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.

He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.

For everyone who’s wondering what counts as partisan interference in the proper functioning of our nation’s military:

This is what that looks like.
NYT: Hegseth demanded the resignation of the commander of U.S. forces in Europe and NATO, General Christopher Cavoli, who stated in a declaration submitted to the Senate committee in April that Russia poses a "chronic" and "growing" threat

Thank you Mayor @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social for setting the tone for 2026. The crisis in our country is dire; the time for small fixes is over.

This is the year in which we will bring back government that can do big, positive things for everyone. The moment demands that we succeed.
Mamdani: I have been told that this is the occasion to reset expectations, that I should use this opportunity to encourage the people of New York to ask for little and expect even less. I will do no such thing. The only expectation I seek to reset is that of small expectations.

After today’s disgraceful display by Trump, it is important to repeat:

There is only one way the war can end: victory for Ukraine.

Russia will never stop otherwise.

The Ukrainian people will never be safe otherwise.

And America must always stand by free, democratic nations under attack.

Just so we’re clear here: this is the Trump I Admin using the DOJ improperly to track a leading investigative reporter on the Epstein beat all the way back in 2019.

I don’t know what’s in the Files or if the details would end Trump’s career.

But Donald Trump clearly believes they would.
INBOX: @jkbjournalist.bsky.social, an investigative reporter at @miamiherald.com who has covered Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking story for nearly a decade, accuses the Trump Department of Justice for tracking her flight history in 2019 and releasing them partially unredacted in the Epstein files

Merry Christmas!

Wishing you and your loved ones a season filled with warmth, hope, and time together. During these moments of reflection, may we remember the importance of community, kindness, and showing up for one another. Here’s to a peaceful holiday and a hopeful year ahead!

The ongoing power outage in San Francisco shows exactly why we need a #GreenGrid: as well as bringing down utility costs and fighting climate change, we can replace our ancient and rickety infrastructure in the process.

Our cities and our state’s fire safety need it.

When we retake power and end this national nightmare, RFK Jr.’s sentence for his crimes should be simple: digging, by hand, a grave for every single child killed by his monstrous policies.

When I say we need to stand up for every one of our LGBTQ+ neighbors, that includes our trans kids and trans adults.

Any Democrat who voted for this should be thrown out of the party, full stop. Fight for everyone or get out of the way.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

Chag Sameach to our Jewish friends, neighbors, and community members as you celebrate Hanukkah with your families and loved ones!

In this frightening time, our campaign is committed to keeping America safe for every one of our neighbors to worship freely.

People ask me: why do I always take time to say that America must be safe for all of our neighbors? Why spend time speaking out for our LGBTQ+ communities and neighbors of all races and colors? Shouldn’t that go without saying?

Videos like this are why.
Lincoln Mayor Holly Andreatta spoke at a club meeting at Twelve Bridges High School in Lincoln, CA, making homophobic, historically inaccurate, and inflammatory remarks.

I don’t believe for a second that Pete Hegseth was uninvolved in ordering the illegal follow-up strikes or that it was all Admiral Bradley’s call.

This smells distinctly like an attempt by Hegseth to deflect blame.

Looking forward to hauling him before Congress and finding out the truth!

This World AIDS Day, we mourn the hundreds of thousands of Americans lost to HIV/AIDS and stand with those living with the diagnosis today.

While the Trump Administration refuses to mark this day, California will never abandon our neighbors, friends, and loved ones affected.
