One of the best souvenirs from a visit to Snoqualmie Falls in Washington. Pressed pennies (or elongated coins) were first introduced at the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago, IL. The gift shop at the falls has four coins for $4.04 twinpeaksblog.com/2025/08/22/t...

Hey Slow Poke! The western-themed artwork hanging above D. Fusco’s desk in “Twin Peaks” Parts 9 & 13 was created by Ray Strang. He made it for University of Arizona professor Glen Strickler in the late 1940s. It was Tucson-based Strang’s most notable work twinpeaksblog.com/2025/07/14/t...

Writer Harley Peyton was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1990 for his script to #TwinPeaks episode 1.003. Both his script and the pilot lost to David E. Kelly’s “Blood, Sweat and Fears” episode for “L.A. Law.” But here we are 35 years later still quoting Peyton:

Now available, an in-depth look at how Julee Cruise’s 1993 album “The Voice of Love” was made. A creative challenge for Julee, the album led to a break from David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. Decades later, it’s an underrated gem the begs us to “listen, listen” twinpeaksblog.com/2025/06/24/t...

“Questions in a World of Blue” is my favorite Julee Cruise song. She filmed her scene for #TwinPeaksFireWalkWithMe on Oct. 14, 1991. While never officially released as a single, radio stations in Spain received a 7-inch single to play in 1992. Full details: twinpeaksblog.com/2025/06/05/q...
