It's official. I'm starting back on team practices and scrimmages for the remainder of December, and will aim to play with them again first week of January 🙂🏒🥅 #WomensHockey
Starting to get the joneseing for the ice again. Been a while. I might start going to team practices soon to get my legs back under me (I haven't played hockey since summer).

A sneak peek at a large winter scape scenic #painting I'm now working on. I signed up our household for town-wide "Holiday Lighted Windows" (think advent calendar but with window displays). I'm dedicating this one to my loved one who passed away. Our window lighting is scheduled for the 17th 😊💙❄️🌲

Two young deer grazing at the edge of our property a few minutes ago. My loved one who passed away would have absolutely loved this video. Every time I'd capture photos or videos of wildlife nearby, she found joy in us sharing with her, especially footage of deer, birds, and wild rabbits 🥰❤️

Loved one passed away over the weekend. They are finally at peace and free from pain. 🙏❤️ Cancer is a horrible thing. Home hospice care is brutal. We are exhausted but at peace too 😪 I'm hoping to get back to some normalcy soon. Thank you to those who've reached out on here, I appreciate you.

I'm also finding it really difficult to focus on art this week for the reason stated in my last post. It feels so frivolous right now. Almost feel guilty for making pretty things when someone so dear is suffering 😢

Another tough day with loved one. At-home hospice is... not easy, especially when the nurses can only come by twice a week. There's no prep for this. You learn to care as it goes. At least we're at home for one last Thanksgiving together.

I love how every artist has a different style that's wholly and uniquely them. even if ppl draw in the same general style, there's still just ✨something✨ about it that has the fingerprints of its creator and I think that's part of what makes art so beautiful
