I can't blame people for not knowing what's going on with Cambodia because our media mostly ignores it, but I just need to say that if you care about Palestine and you care about the minorities being kidnapped by ICE, then you should also care about Cambodia as Thailand is bombing and invading it.

Prediction: the prices of PC components will get prohibitively expensive so companies will start selling "PC boxes", kind of like Roku boxes, that give you access to online servers that you subscribe to for say $20/month. You just need a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and the box.

As AI tech advances, the main thing people have to remember is it is incapable of genuine emotion. All it will ever be able to do is emulate what it computes that emotion is supposed to look like. Electronics, algorithms, and code can't feel anything. We tend to anthropomorphize things. Don't.

I love how many will cite wages vs house prices in decades past to paint those times as easier, but didn't look any deeper than that. If they did, they'd find out that interest rates and expected down payments were astronomically higher than they are now. Few could muster a 30% down payment.

I've taken to referring to those who defend ICE, Trump, etc. as collaborators. It brings home that this is fascism and calls them out for what they are. They like to play bad faith games by going on social media and saying "proof?" when you state the obvious.
