The Lee's Summit Democrats continue to grow! Over 80 people packed the house for last night’s meeting.

People are ready to flip these House and Senate seats and send a message to the Republican supermajority, uphold the will of the voters or be voted out!

Trump has clearly never listened to Mitch Hedberg

"Companies are gonna pay a lot of money for that... And they are very happy about it."

H-1B Visa will be $100,000 per year. Per employee. But don't worry, Trump says the companies love it.

I'm sure these costs won't be passed down to us in any way.

"If you have tons of Democrats in your church in 2025...then your congregants are serving another god"

Watch this featured speaker tone down the rhetoric at Tuesdays "prayer vigil" in Kansas City.

Did all the speakers talk like this? No. Did they all let this guy talk like this? Yes

The disdain for public education on display from the Republicans on this panel is sickening. They want to destroy our schools and sell the parts. Specifically the remarks from Rep. Darin Chappell, this guy wants our state, our schools, and our children to fail. #moleg

Call to Action!

The Missouri Legislative Black Caucus has a press conference TOMORROW on the special session to split the 5th congressional district.

They are calling on elected officials, community leaders, and partners who oppose this effort to stand with them. We hope to see everyone there!

Thank you to Representatives Michael Johnson and Wick Thomas for hosting a town hall this morning! And thank you to Monica Curls for moderating and Northeast News for hosting!

There is a lot of fight left this session as Republicans continue to try to overturn the will of the people. Stay informed!

🚨 House Republicans are one step closer to overturning our vote in Missouri…

Last November, Lee’s Summit Republican Jon Patterson, now Majority Leader, was re-elected by a smaller margin in his district than the amendment he is now determined to overturn.

Jeremy was the union endorsed candidate in this race.

So far unions have only lost one race tonight.

Congrats to the newly elected Jeremy Rowan for Blue Springs City Council!

It’s a great feeling to see hard work rewarded, and Jeremy Rowan earned every vote he got in this race. Glad you got that win!
