Damn just got all the way to the final boss of Sonic 2 with all chaos emeralds my first time trying as Knuckles, but even with 4 continues I kept messing up on the egg bot
I even resorted to watching a video guide on my last continue and still ended up with game over 😞

Haven’t finished Sonic 2 yet but got the Sonic and Knuckles cart today so naturally had to try with Knuckles

I am just not a single genre type of gamer, end of last year my mindset was going all in on JRPGs, and I do love JRPGs but I thrive on variety

I am just not a single genre type of gamer, end of last year my mindset was going all in on JRPGs, and I do love JRPGs but I thrive on variety

End thoughts on SMTV, I did 3 endings total - 2 in CoC and 1 CoV
First playthrough was great, totally in love but on NG+ and CoV I was tired of the huge open areas and going through fast I realized how weak the writing is
Overall 6/10, but interested in other SMT titles because combat was 10/10

Playing Sea of Stars still and as much as I’m loving the gameplay I am really put off by all the 4th wall jokes and modern dialogue quips.
Story is good and the characters are likable, but the dialogue feels off. Which is sad because it started strong and around the pirates started going downhill.

This game looks amazing, I know SNES can technically display more colors and has real transparency and all that but the Genesis does look really good still

Hunting down all the early Sonic games so I'll need to build this monstrosity, it's a struggle finding good deals on some of this

Stumbled across the mess of HD CRT videos on YT
I'm begging you
Please do not use HD CRTs for games from the 16 to 32 bit eras it's a waste and doesn't make sense, these are 4:3 games built for SD CRTs
Just get a regular CRT and composite cable, that's what everyone really used in the 90s anyway

Star Fox holds up so well. There is maybe one boss (not this one) where you have to fight against the controls a little but for the most part it’s got all the charm I remember
I have a lot of admiration for older games where you just pick it up and play, get as far as you can and that’s that
