I spent an hour tearing apart an offline electronic pin pad to do a factory reset, only to find out my instructions didn't work. Only to then find out the original, 1-2-3-4 style master code was never replaced.
Don't use the default anything unless it's randomized to your device folks.

Happy new years eve! I'm quite happy with all the things I've accomplished this year. I've met a lot of awesome folks here and streaming, and I hope to continue that next year!

On this last Monday of the year I'm reflecting on how I feel walking into the office. We really need a better culture of taking care of ourselves and taking time to rest. I only took time off that I had to for illness or to travel at a holiday.
This was good for me and I'm going to do more of it.

I love a good friend slop, but damn, Mimesis is like the Dark Souls of friend slop. The algorithm that pulls voice chunks to spam at you is REALLY funny. It's kind of overtuned, but feels okay for EA.
My only gripe: mimic and dangers are basically untouchable. I can't even seem to stun them.

Christmas can be a complicated holiday when you're avoiding extended family but the important thing to remember is to take care of yourself. Enjoy small moments.

Good morning bluesky! Trying to slowly reemerge from the cave of sickness now that I can manage some symptoms more effectively.
Being sick SUCKS, and it's super isolating. Not because I don't want to be social, but it's hard when you can't sleep or be at/make spaces with others.

So turns out it's a respiratory infection. Nice. Doctor did send some stronger drugs tho so that'll help manage symptoms. I might get to fully re-enter the land of the living soon.

I love the Benoit Blanc/Knives Out series of films. I really hope they make more but not to appease the audience/make money, only if they want to.
