Hate to admit it... I hate watching us at the moment. It's not the results its the manner in which they're coming. How defending champions look this utterly at sea breaks my heart as is seeing players who show effort get frozen out in favour of others who seem undroppable.

This is the worrying bit for me. Slot seems like he's intent this season on stamping *HIS* identity on the team this season, and in doing so is shoving round holes into square pegs and refusing to compromise. We're SO ponderous, SO predictable. Tactically park the bus against us, and we're confused.
Shifting Wirtz out to the left, and making him hold the width instead of letting him drift inside has completely taken him out of the game. More amd more I'm baffled by Arne Slot's decisions #LFC

Bet this "major plan" will just be a nicely bound wad of paper that Martin and Harris will parade around with their sickly grins for a few softball interviews and puff pieces on RTE, will be eviscerated by the opposition and shown as nothing but waffle, and fall short of what targets it sets itself.

Someone on here yesterday posted proof that Kerkez isn't as bad as people claim because he runs a lot. Currently watching him playing here and can't help but think he'd have to run less if he stopped getting caught upfield or stopped misplacing these passes.
