Agreed. My issue there is that comes down to coaching. Good players don't go bad overnight, and for all of our new signings to have these issues simultaneously is really - REALLY - worrying.

Madness alright. Megabikes in Dublin has an older one - 2022 F750GS - with similar mileage and lesser spec, and they want €12k for it, no negotiation.

No duty since its EU, but the VRT would be chunky - €900. But the bike is €9,750, and another €500 for shipping. So €11,150 all in. Same bike in Ireland is about €14,000.

I also realise that my emails to dealers in Germany 100% sound like a scam - basically "Hello is the bike still available, if so I'd like to buy it. I will send money by bank transfer and have a company pick the bike up since I am abroad." Hmmm...

I'm now officially bike shopping, as the season seems to be winding down and with it, prices are coming down. Still stupidly expensive in Ireland though, so am contacting dealers in Germany for bikes I'm finding on mobile.de but not a single one will email me back!
