Something big’s on fire in the city. Could see east of Kingshighway. This is from Skinker.

Thank goodness! I love that place but it’s been busting at the seams!

The CFPB helped me get my money back when some lowlife stole my check out of the mail, washed it and took $2500 out of my account.
The CFPB has returned more than $21 billion directly to consumers who got ripped off. Republicans in Congress have seen it work for families across the country – but they’re trying to kill the agency anyway.

Dang it. Ozzy, Chuck and now Tom? The poor music world. Poor all of us.
My last living musical hero is still my hero but unfortunately no longer living. RIP to the great, great Mr. Tom Lehrer.

This makes me sad. I played a mashup of a lot of his songs with band in high school.

We’re officially back open at 5242 Delmar! After nearly a month, the love STL has shown us means everything. Come by for lunch, ice cream, or a happy hour toast—we’ve missed you. Open 11a–9p today. Let’s bring this block back to life.

Can’t wait! Love the Locust location but Delmar is closer to home!
Hey friends! We reopen on Delmar officially this THURSDAY post-tornado. We will need your intentional support for a long time after this storm.

Our first test run will be tonight with a VERY limited menu at #BuildBackTheBlock on Delmar! We hope to see you there!

I hope to see lots of STLers there!!!
A hard truth: FEMA provides ZERO assistance to business owners. Just risky SBA loans that you have to pay back.
So... we'd really appreciate you coming out to #BuildBacktheBlock. The funds will stabilize those that are reopening and help reopen, relocate & relaunch others impacted. Spread the word.

Damn. I just drove down Page in the daylight for the first time since the tornado. 💔 finally able to drop off supply donations since most close before I can get to them. My/our poor city.

This is staggering. It absolutely pales in comparison to someone losing their home but it still is heartbreaking to witness on a near daily basis.

St. Louis tornado left Forest Park with 3,000 downed trees and an unfamiliar landscape
While trees remain standing in every part of Forest Park, the damage has drastically altered the landscape of the nearly 150-year old beloved attraction.

The more you know 🌠 St. Louis Star Trek edition

Katsulas was born in St. Louis City, graduated SLU, and is buried in St. Matthew Cemetery, St. Louis City
Today in unexpected discoveries ... While searching Google Maps for my newspaper work, I noticed someone has placed a pin on the gravesite Andreas Katsulas, who I remember from Star Trek: TNG and Babylon 5. Apparently he's buried in St. Louis!
