If Trump invades Greenland, the Europeans won't fight back, Republicans will defend it, Democrats will issue statements, there will be protests, and most Americans will disapprove of it enough to earn Democrats a bit more of the vote in November. Then on to the next thing.
More than an attempted coup, where a mob tried to seize Congress on live television did? There's not going to be an implosion about anything. It's either a slow slide towards oblivion where everything gets incrementally worse as people try to live normally, or a slow grind in the opposite direction.

I feel like Sarah is getting at an important truth about our chattering classes placing more importance on language games than the facts and concepts communicated by language. "How do you feel about the president being called a pedo protector," not "How do you feel about him protecting pedophiles."

As someone who understands the Midwest, I am grateful that Minnesota all cities is as polite as it is only because I can easily see if this is Los Angeles. It would probably have evolved open gunfire, but it's interesting to see ice get beaten up by like the Midwest coalition

Ok posts like this doubly so from the self admitted "hasn't bought a car in a decade" are wild self admits. My forester, rhe lowesr MPG of the Japanese crossover core (AWD) is getting 28-35 mpg. Even my giant truck is 20-26. Even the monster V8 chargers are 20-26. Minivans now are 25-45
Watching the US auto industry build over sized bloat monsters while the world moves forward is weird. Gas prices may be low, but the unreliable US uber-SUV only gets 15 mpg in the city and costs as much as a small house.
Not having a car since 2010, pretty great.
