Focusing on white women, Latino men and younger men ie what literally happened in North Carolina to swing it blue enough to elect a democratic governor. This can be done in the Midwest and south if you just peel away like 10-30% of white women you win every southern state 51%. Latinos get you a 55%

One of the quiet things I've seen about cars is the huge huge job footprint. I work with global support engineering firm 'x' and a shockingly huge sector is ground vehicles (everything from cars to the tires to the steel and other base materials) and it's at least no joke 40 million Americans

YIMBYs often absolutely cannot admit this because it suggests that you can only achieve so much by upzoning the city. In fact some of the biggest gains from upzoning, I’d argue, are to be found in UPZONING THE SUBURBS, allowing low-density burbs to become moderate-density burbs.

So I have a solution for this, it would involve land transfers, land rents and giving back key beach front , government land and high end real estate back to native people, as well as mining and resource rites in key areas for 500 years as a form of long term compensation
