Not a Thor player so I could be misinformed but with Rocket they crippled the offensive capabilities of a character who already desperately needed help in that area and it sucks butt hard.

People post their negative opinions more than positive and whatnot but I don't think I've ever seen a positive reaction to their reworks. Jeff definitely needed one and I won't give an opinion on it because idk, but the Thor and Rocket ones feel like they took away versatility.

A metric ton of bugs have not been fixed with a lot of them being terrifically detrimental to their characters (BP, Fantastic, Peni)

Characters like Black Panther and Spider-Man are entirely binary characters allowing either them or their chosen targets to have fun but never both, meaning somebody has to have a frustrating game every time one of them are picked because they are just wholly uninteractive designs.

The ranked system is like standing water. Genuinely felt almost no difference in match quality from silver to GM, there are just so many people so inflated that [insert furry joke here] and it just makes ranked as a whole pointless other than the cool border cosmetic.

Seeing good to broken characters (Bucky/Luna) buffed every other patch for 9 months while Squirrel Girl got nerfed because??? is just such a disheartening thing because it feels like common sense not to do either of these things.

Subjective but the post launch characters are some combination of extremely boring, or extremely bad. My personal exception to this is Emma but she's been overturned for so long that everyone hates her and fairly so...

Ultimates are the most powerful I've ever seen in a Hero Shooter or mobile, and all this does is make the neutral game pointless except for gaining ult charge, healers are homogenized to hell while numbers are so high you have to healbot constantly as most of them so your team doesn't fall over...

I keep seeing Marvel Rivals stuff and updates for it on my console but man I just have no desire to play it. I think the myriad issues the game had at launch and the many more that have cropped up since have just soured my taste on the game.

People push for representation and diversity, and that definitely isn't a bad thing, but writing what you know is basically class 2 of writing 101, and certainly some break it, but it's generally better to follow the rules than to try and be the exception.

The decision to frame it as a documentary is just so absolutely genius. Anything that would seem like a weird exposition dump is now just necessary narration for the ensuing scene. The emotional moment don't suffer this transition at all imo, and may even be elevated by it at times. Amazing decision

Also I finished Legend of the Galactic Heroes at some point. Words can describe my feelings on this show, but it would take an awful lot of them, and I don't have it in me right now. It is my favorite show, it is intelligent, well scored, beautiful, and amazingly presented and adapted. Must watch.

I, not quite so recently played Chasing Static, a not much better, but certainly more personally interesting indie horror game. Not a glowing reccomendation by any means but if your curious and it's cheap enough then why not.

I finished Still Wakes The Deep last night for an October horror game. It's fine I guess. Nothing really stands out about it, it feels like another HPL horror game but first person, and honestly it is the most unresponsive game I've ever played. Not terrible but I don't reccomend it.

Sort of amazing how like 3-5 episodes of every Sopranos season is dedicated to the plight of women and usually makes me extremely uncomfortable and feel like shit (this is a good thing)

This is of course not a slight against it, it's definitely up there for toy commercials of the time, but the scene of Char turning blue and having the wind taken from his sails when he hears the Mobile Suit Core can transfer between suits efficiently is absolutely hysterical.
