Do I hand-carve stamps to hand-print hundreds of two color stickers for every convention I attend? Hard nope. But I am doing so for the Myndasöguhátíð Siglufjarðar / Siglufjörður Comics Festival because they deserve my very best efforts. I can't wait to come up and draw comics with y'all! 💙

You're so kind! The new book is tentatively called Growing Together and is about first love, friendship, making mistakes, earning forgiveness, planting tomatoes, and growing hope. It follows a group of kids making a food garden in their school yard based on real victory garden plans from WW1.

It was mostly collage techniques, altering books, and combining different forms of physical media. It certainly knocked the cobwebs from my brain and I had lot of fun seeing how the brilliant students made the assignments their own. Here are some warmup tibbits from my own altered sketchbook.
