Not only is a VPN cheaper than a sub to ESPN, you can get far more use out of it as well. It was alright when they were showing PLEs on Peacock, now they've made their programming even less accessible. #wwe #espn

Christianity, or more accurately Paulianity as most people follow more of Paul than Jesus, is certainly a wild ride to be on, but I'm really happy to finally be off it. I still try to find reasons to validate it, among other religions, but I have yet to do so for any of them. #christianity #atheist

If I've learned one important thing, it's to push back against bad ideas and beliefs wherever you find them. This is especially applicable when it comes to religion. Don't worry about offending anyone, push back hard, because they won't hesitate to try and push their bullshit on you. #exvangelical

I love ChatGPT, I use it to help edit things sometimes and make some of my rambling thoughts more concise for scripts, it's a fantastic tool. But, that being said, people need to stop using it as a main source of information. If you're using it for research, always check the info it gives you.

I need to get more serious about my weight loss, I've been doing alright, but I still don't make it a whole week without breaking my goals at least once. Of course Thanksgiving is this week, so that will be a challenge on its own, not so much because I can't eat less, but it's impossible to count.

I think out of all the religious beliefs out there, the one I understand the least is Scientology. This is the brainchild of a legitimate science fiction writer, it's akin to the Mormon religion in that way, which was the creation of a legitimate con-man. It's absurd to the point it's a joke.

Finally sat down and watched Schindler's List for the first time earlier today. It does a good job of showing the brutality of the Holocaust. I watch a lot of violence heavy movies, but it's really hard to be ready for a movie like that, because it's not some movie monster, it's real life monsters.

I don't understand progressive Christianity, you'd have to ignore large parts of the Bible to make that work. How can one be progressive while also following a book and god that advocates for things like genocide and slavery. Those two things don't seem to fit together very well.

I put this up on Tiktok, not YouTube yet, all my stuff is way behind there, but seriously, who argues for slavery...? But, front to back the Bible is a pro-slavery book, so I guess it makes sense.

Debate is a show, a performance. It's utility doesn't revolve around the ability to change your opponents mind, but rather the effect it can have on the audience listening.

Decided to pick up The Last of Us: Part 1 and play through it, then I can finally play through part 2. Honestly I played part one when it first came out, and I don't remember shit about it. #thelastofus #ps5 #console #gaming

Islamophobia is sometimes misused to deflect real criticisms of the Quran and the religion itself. This reply on reddit sums it up. "Criticize all you like, just like any other religion. Where it becomes a problem is when you start screaming at us that we’re all violent barbaric evil terrorists..."

I'm actually pretty excited by this, I expected another Jey run. Don't get me wrong, I love Jey, but it was time for something different. One can only yeet, roll it back and yeet again so many times 😂

When I read a news article, I don't at all care about whatever bias or spin the writer wants to put on it, whether that's right or left leaning, just throw out the basic facts of the situation and I can decide what to think and how to feel about it. News shouldn't have a bias.

They did not end up approving this appeal, I guess listing Muhammad as one of the biggest issues I have with Islam was a bit much, and I never even said why that is. It's due to the relationship between him and Aisha, the literal child he married, but that was never mentioned here.

I think the only posts I've gotten even minimal interaction on here, are related to professional wrestling. I guess I still haven't figured out this app.

Put on the director's cut of Napoleon, been wanting to watch it for some time, hopefully it lives up to what I'm expecting from both a historical biopic about one of the most influential military leaders in history, and a Ridley Scott film.

In the Antebellum South, the states that wanted to break away from the Union over what they labeled as states rights, primarily regarding the right to own slaves, had a stronger Biblical case for their side than the North did. No matter how many times Christians deny that the Bible advocates...
