One thing no one mentions when talking about Castellanos’ power numbers: he’s had close to 2,000 PA the last three seasons. If he gets 600 PA this year, we’re fucked, and if he doesn’t, he doesn’t hit 20.

His big problem is that he’s played terrible baseball for most of the past four years. If a Florida team isn’t interested now that he’s basically free — and I can’t blame them given the performance and The Athletic’s recent report — that’s another problem. Looks like SD presents an opening for him
