I finished The Wire the other day, and once again I am left with a lot to think about. I have been thinking about a lot of things from the themes of the show, the subject matters, how it compares to other shows. I’m stuck on how I don’t care for the ending, but it’s probably inconclusive on purpose.

Kinda wild that as soon as bsky was required to have age verification where I was and I couldn’t access it, but I’m vacation and out of town a state over and now I can lol.
Oh well, when I get back and I go quiet again, that might be a reason why. I’m not letting it hamper my creativity though.

Vacation time will help give me time to do stuff I don’t normally have time to do (like game dev or stream stuff). With that coming up for me next week, I generally just want to recover from being burned out in multiple different aspects. Feels like I’ve been charred to a crisp at times.

Also, I know I said I was going to stream OFF this past weekend, but didn’t really get around to that though I want to. I’m just not happy with how my stream is presented pretty plainly right now, without like any overlay or even the notifs not working. I want to spiffy that up in my spare time-

Went off my ADD meds for a few days as a test to see if it’s been a part of my depression worsening lately. Don’t think that is the case I’ve mostly been just abnormally antsy and overstimulated, and have felt relatively the same amount of exhaustion.

I could go on about how the OFF remake won’t be quite the same without the original soundtrack, but it’s really hard to be negative about it when the tracks so far are actually quite nice, and well, Toby Fox acknowledged how difficult it is to capture the mood of something that inspired him greatly.

But, forreal, I’ll probably stream the new OFF remaster(?) sometime this weekend. That one is personal to my heart somewhere.
I don’t expect the atmosphere to hit quite the same as it once did, but I am all about seeing it more fleshed out after all these years.
