Brain has completely shut down now. Can't even focus on true crime documentaries, so I've switched to watching &Team MVs. At least I don't need to follow a storyline.

Just started crying because the cordless shaver ran out of battery midway through doing my head. So yes, I'm pretty sure I'm in a fatigue flare lol
(We just plugged it in and carried on going. It really wasn't an issue.)

I've only been back from Japan for just over a month, but I'm already looking at going back late next year. It'll only be for a week or so, rather than the full fortnight, because we're planning a trip for hubby and I in a couple of years and that will be a longer one.

Today in my Japanese learning, I am mostly cursing at katakana letters.
I can do hiragana (mostly). I'm getting better with kanji. But katakana? Just will not sink into my brain...

Since Firefox updated, my internet access has been soooooo slow. I've turned off all those stupid AI settings, but I can't find anything else that could be causing it...

I'm listening to an anthology of short stories set in the world of Stephen King's The Stand (authorised by him) and I'm only on the second story but it's very very good.

Like many people who work in comms (internal comms specifically) I fell into it by accident.
When I was a kid, I briefly considered journalism as a career, but realised how competitive it was and noped.
I ended up doing general office admin for years, and then shifted into data analysis.

I know this is my own fault for (still) watching Grey's Anatomy, but I'm really fed up with every relationship ending badly. There's not a single happy, stable relationship in it.

Today I'm having to be the bad guy at work (I just have to be their manager and tell them off in a nice way, but I still hate doing it).
But I am very pissed at them that they continue to think alt text is an optional thing. I'm not sure how many times I need to keep repeating myself on this.
