when absolute DC was revealed it felt so transparently like it was trying to chase the high-sales and vibe of ultimate marvel. it probably was doing that, but nothing in absolute is as embarassing as Ultimate Incursion or Wolverine, and USM isnt doing anywhere close to Absolute Batman's numbers
