I helped run a game design session a few weeks ago, as a part of a social value project.
I had someone come up to me after playing Unlucky Adventurers as a part of it, saying that he never plays board games, but he absolutely loved our game.
That one interaction will sustain me for a year! ❤️

I can 100% second this take!

I used WorldAnvil for a while and tried Notion and Obsidian as well, and while they are good platforms, @legendkeeper.com is just so on the money for exactly what is needed for world building, without the unnecessary fluff.
It's got so much potential as well to expand.

Just because I spotted your post pop up on my feed, I wanted to take the opportunity to say that I really love your Campfire rules for travel (and for making it available on @alchemyrpg.bsky.social )

I'd really encourage anyone interested to incorporate it into their games to add flavour to travel.

I used to be exactly the same 😅
I found that creating generic but adaptable maps was the best start for me.
E.g. Built a city street that can be placed in any city, but then have a set of more specific assets/tokens/images that I could place on the fly during our break etc. to make it unique.
