having long hair makes people see me as more feminine than i would like but i genuinely dislike the aesthetics of short hair for me personally and EYE don’t see long hair as inherently feminine. alas

I know I am being a hater dyke about this but I loathe the proliferation of "Galentine" as the assumed inherently platonic complement to "Valentine." We need to move on. If you want to preserve a love-your-friends day in February, "Palentine" is a perfectly serviceable alternative.
