Abell 39 captured from my patio on seven nights in June 😊🔭

This bubble like planetary nebula was shot on the EdgeHD 8 for a total integration time of 27 hours in mono using Ha and OIII narrowband filters and RGB filters for the stars.

NGC 6543 The Cat’s Eye Nebula captured from my patio on seven nights 😊🔭

This was shot on the EdgeHD 8 for a total integration time of about 27 hours in mono. It’s a combination of Ha and OIII narrowband data with LRGB data for the core and the stars.

M92 the other major globular cluster in Hercules. 26,700 light years away, 108 ly across. Mass of 330k suns! Very ancient stars. Due to the earth's wobble in 14000 yrs this cluster will be within 1 degree of the north celestial pole. Shot from Leeds. 11 hrs data used. #Astronomy #Astrophotography

The California nebula in Perseus. Just over ten hours of narrow band data shot from Spain in Sept 23, using the Redcat51. The hydrogen gas in the nebula is glowing due to the energy from the nearby star Menkib. #Astronomy #Astrophotography
