Secondary thoughts, perhaps private clinic doctors and physicians arent working properly and they should be brought into the public system. Their offices should be run by Interior Health.

Or a resolution that requires all city jurisdictions to maintain an operational capacity of healthcare workers? Which could mean mandating more school spots for healthcare workers to fill those gaps? Just some thoughts.

Are there any plans or solutions for attracting more healthcare professionals to the region so that all people in Vernon have timely access to a doctor? Perhaps you could work with city council to get doctors on the city payroll? Make them municipal staff?

Thank you. Good work. Next can we turn our focus to the Vernon(and wider) area where there are healthcare gaps for many people still? The city has one walk in clinic. I am lucky to have access to a doctor by phone through FNHA now but for many people in our area they dont have that option.
