I support the idea of an all-in-one ID, something that replaces & combines passport & driving license. Don't have any faith in the UK government (and its usual contractors) to deliver a robust & easy to use system with security & fail-safe designed in though.

Is there an EU wide scheme instead?

I'm not disagreeing with that it's just when it comes to this genre we're discussing the equivalent of McDonalds. Yeah, for the price they're charging it should be better (or a lot cheaper) and we should expect more from the company towards its workers... still McD's at the end of it.

OTOH it shows the reverse as well. Their audience churns but it's incredibly loyal to the franchise and will quite happily buy the same damn game multiple times and I don't just mean things like Red/Blue. It might be low effort but so is a lot of other comfort food as well.

Given current knowledge I'd prefer the vapes to the smoke, we could just strap some bins to lamp posts in the high streets for collecting them? Maybe a return fee type thing to encourage users to take them to a proper place for disposal?
