I was on a panel at GSU on Friday and that is the key question I was asked. Some students are really distressed about this.
Something unique about this moment is it’s not totally clear what the important skills of the future are going to be. You could tell me it’s more STEM, social skills, video presentation skills, even the ripple effects from playing sports and I’d say “Yeah I could see that.”

Really interested to learn how the outage in Portugal and Spain propagated so quickly. They seem to have lost 15GW quickly with generation capacity of 130GW (half of which is nuclear and gas-fueled generators). Keen to see where this started.

I want to highlight the point about industry benefiting from not having to pay for the cost of trainings their scientists.

It’s why AI Industry labs are so productive. They’re staffed with fully trained phds with 5-10 years of experience. It’s amazing…
