Just fixed [2] of @snowythegryph.bsky.social’s wii remotes that no longer had working vibrators (rumblers) and [1] remote that didn’t work at all.
Turns out, if you dump 3v DC into the vibrator motor at almost 1.5amps you can knock them free and get them spinning again.
Worked great!

Today was my last half dose, tomorrow is a full dose.
NOT looking forward to the full dose, just need to keep my eyes on the prize…

Weekend reports are calling for -47F windchill. Might actually be time to put the 4runner in the garage this season.
So. Fucking. Cold.
And getting well into -15F (before windchill!!) this weekend for a couple days.
Spare heaters are ready, furnace is turned down a couple degrees to not stress it, picking up a little more pipe insulation today.
Basement is already rocking ~48 degrees

Finally slapped an outdoor AP on the house.
WiFi can’t escape our siding, zero WiFi or cellular coverage outside.
FINALLY have WiFi in the garage and backyard. Hell yeah.
For the price…this thing is awesome.

Why are HDMI cables absolute garbage.
Horrible. Horrific.
You can spend $80 on a “high quality” certified cable and it goes static / glitchy / cuts out after 6 months but the $7 amazon special will never die and according to the tv, it holds the same connection rate…
