The announcers called it right away. It was pretty clear he was going to be called off. We've seen much closer than that before. The momentum of his run was obvious.

I would be curious to see if anyone has done a recent social media study on the toxicity of supporters for each club. I gotta imagine we are up there. What is insane to me is that everything always seemed targeted at everyone except the root cause for our problems... ENIC.

I love how Wayne Rooney has built a pundit career for himself after proving he is nothing but a failed athlete who cannot manage a club successfully. The one thing I'll say is - he knows a relegation battle when he sees one, because he led Plymouth straight into one.

But now that UCL teams do not drop down, it is even less prestigious. It is a nice thing to win, but Spurs should always be striving for UCL qualification.

The UEL's value is a consolation tournament. With the new format, clubs from England will always be expected to make the final 4. The UEL we have now, is not the UEL we used to have.
