I'm positive there are urban legends about Ani. Conspiracy theories, at the very least, about the devastation left behind by his aether explosions.

And Ruathyr has absolutely been painted as an elusive forest cryptid by at least a handful of hunters/travelers.
#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion

Is there a place that people tell stories of your WoL/OC where they are painted like a legend?

When a sitting representative refers to the Super Bowl halftime show as “pornography,” people should use that to reflect on how they and other representatives are simultaneously working to ban, censor, and restrict “pornography” and what that actually means

Half the reason Ani helps Theri'a out is probably that he's nowhere near solving his own problems and he hates the idea of going through all of that only to have nothing left to enjoy at the end. He doesn't even have much hope of actually reaching an end, finding some sort of fix, but if he *does*.

Ruathyr rises early, no matter how little sleep he's gotten. Often, it's a bare handful of hours before nightmares rip him awake so he's also a reluctant night owl. They're very quiet hours, usually, spent over tea and light reading, or out in his night-blooming garden.
#NewShiftNewQuestion | #wolqotd | #wolquestion

Is your OC a morning riser, an afternoon awakener, or a night owl?

Surgery this Friday. I'm going to vibrate out of my skin.

Theri'a wasn't one to drink in the first place, except as a rare social nicety. He's never liked the way it makes him feel. Nursing single glass of wine or light cider is fine for a relaxed night, but anything beyond brings a sense of unmooring that leaves him lightheaded and sick.
Curious about this one since canonically the wol ends up avoiding drinks after it but whats your personal canon over why your wol may have stopped drinking after that “maiden” drugs your wol’s drink during HW?

The creature I've been talking about btw. She has one braincell that tries very hard, often looks very sad, and you will have to trust me when I call her nose Gonzo-like because these pictures don't do it justice.

Liri is so loud when she grooms. I can hear it across a room and it's the most awful, slorpiest noise. Perfectly designed to antagonize my misophonia.

Theri'a picked up basic skills from the adventurers who raised him. Everyone learned, in case a healer was the first to be injured/incapacitated.

Ruathyr learned a lot from one of his adoptive moms, and continues to study to this day. His healing actually incorporates a lot of non-magical elements.

Just watched Lirael climb into the litterbox, pause to process the uncovered poop someone else left, then determinedly and thoroughly bury it before leaving.

You might think she climbed in there just to bury it. She did not. She either forgot she had to go or, worse, thought she already had.

Finding out Finch is using genai as part of their creative workflow sucks. One day shy of a 400 streak. I'm so disappointed and tired.

Stays firmly inside with his woodstove well-stoked and a large pot of something hot (soup, stew, mulled cider...) going. Ruathyr doesn't fare well in cold weather but he never minds being snowed in. Only the trickiest weather catches him off guard, and he has plenty set aside for food and focus.
#wolqotd

Oh no, the area you wol/oc lives in just got hit with 60cm of snow and a -30c wind chill!

What do they do?

Iron Lung was a lot of fun! I definitely see what people mean about wishing there were subtitles, but I really enjoyed it overall (and, weirdly, the slower scenes might have been some of my favorites).

I just realized that Theri'a is one third of a workaholic triangle. I was going to make a joke about Aymeric and G'raha making sure he got a full night's sleep but oh no. Oh no. Either they're all getting a full night through group effort or no one is.

What have I done.

Collecting so much can feel materialistic, but it also brings me a sense of connection. This book was written by someone over so many days, weeks, months. That art is the culmination of someone's effort and creativity. These candles are someone's interpretation of a character, a place, a concept.

I love being surrounded by books. I've been slowly rearranging my hoard, finding places for the precarious stacks, and it's been wonderful. The texture of their covers, the hiss and rustle of pages, the smell of them. All the gorgeous artwork.

All that knowledge and passion and creativity. (cont)

Theri'a doesn't hate it, but that sort of attention makes him uncomfortable enough that he's kept as low a profile as possible since his early days with the Scions. It's allowed him a certain amount of anonymity, so the average person doesn't usually recognize him.
#WoLQotD because I’m thinking on it now—

How does your WoL feel about fame? Do they embrace the title of hero, or hate it?

Theri'a spent time with the Fortemps family, but in a mostly social capacity. Edmondt saw he was happiest spending his free time down with Haurchefant, and that Haurchefant was thrilled in turn. That was most important, doing his best by both of them. More important than petty politics.
/// #wolqotd

When your WoL was taken in by the Fortemps as a ward, were they taught any etiquette or lessons on nobility? Did they embrace being a ward or did they just assume it meant they had a place to crash while trying to deal with the banquet fallout and ascian plots?
