I fought colouring my hair for ages and after seeing myself in an official picture looking like I did some hard time, I went straight out and bought some hair dye and took care of the issue.

As much as I hate to admit it, I look much younger and put together than with the greys. So upkeep it is.

My new year's resolution is to make more art using stickers and washi tape and finish my sketchbook I bought in Uzbekistan.

I also am kind of annoyed that I get shocked over people being selfish pricks. I should be used to it, but it does still take me aback when I come across utter pricks. It's like "Damn, who hurt you?"

My favourite question when I talk about shit I've seen in the past or when they see my tattoos "Do you have a police record?" gotta love that the stereotypes are all over still.

Today was one of those days everyone decided to be inappropriate and I let the intrusive thoughts win. I also have to cover the last class of the day and I'm so over it already. Ugh. So sleepy.

I was discussing something with my coworker and he said something that was like "Yeah, no buddy." and I said to him "Don't piss in my hand and tell me it's raining." and I have absolutely NO idea where I pulled that one from.

Bought silly posters to make the place less depressed neutral, but now I have to worry about the AC eventually messing with them. Luckily, I thought ahead and have spares.

I thought I was fucking up the coffee making process. No. It turns out I accidentally bought the shittiest coffee by mistake and now I understand why it tastes burnt and awful. Thank fuck I actually managed to procure the good shit.

I have in no particular order: Marking, A meeting, and a Christmas Staff dinner that I am kind of regretting agreeing to. It's going to be a long day.

What is it with teenage boys and strong cologne? Is it like a rite of passage or what? I'm getting a headache from the strong scent.

And why is it always heavy and sweet scents as well? Damn!

It's been a hot minute, so here's the update: I finally made it to my job after a three month delay. (Please get your act together, Apostille office) and have been working for about three weeks and still learning the ropes and the school culture.

It will be another Christmas away. Not hee hee.

The carp motifs on this kimono scattered across the diagonal bands showcase the technical mastery of rinzu weaving, where the damask technique creates subtle textural variations that allow the fish forms to emerge and recede within the fabric's surface. 1940-1960, Japan

Had to stop at all the freaky deaky stations. Nothing says you're in the twilight zone after passing a dude in a white duvet, two cops waiting for another guy in a silver jacket, and opera played in the station

All in all, a normal night.

A Jizō statue (known as O-Jizō-sama or Jizō Bosatsu in Japan), a beloved Buddhist bodhisattva. These small, often child-like stone figures are a common sight across Japan, found along roadsides, in temples, and particularly in cemeteries and gardens like the one pictured at Enkō-ji Temple in Kyoto.

I went to Calgary for hopefully the last time. I explored Dragon Mall and had a great time again.

I need to do more in Calgary at some point than just run errands.

I'm watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventures in the dub and I am honestly dying at how funny it is. Even more so than I was expecting, to be honest. Stardust Crusaders is the weirdest road trip show ever.
