‘Regardless of who you are,’ doesn’t help either… nor does it make sense to him. Sure, he’s had his wrist slapped quite a few times, but he can’t fathom that his request to study a ‘banned subject’ would remain infamous for centuries, well-known enough to even reach the ears of woodland creatures.
