Acid burns the nerve close to the heart. Acid can come at night and the pain will show up in the morning in the teeth and throat. Could be other issues. I'd go back to the heart doc too. They have test for the vagus nerve you can do.

GERD isn't always noticed. Like it's not always easy to tell you have issues with it. Pain can happen in the throat and chest, neck. It is a silent thing for some people. If you have it try laying elevated. I adjust a pillow or use a wedge pillow. Again, you might not know it's GERD. Try some tums.

My vagus nerve messes with me. At night because of GERD. If you have GERD you can have these types of issues. Vagus nerve will mess with your hearts rhythm. It messes with mine. No pain. More like an internal vibration.
