But my daughter gets stressed by Disney cartoons and doesn’t like feeling scared and not into realistic gore. So I have been only trying to introduce her to things that I feel like she would enjoy. Killer Klowns was perfect. She also liked Gremlins when she was 8 or so.

Growing up in a videostore I saw a lot! I think it is different for each kid. The kid watching The Substance is doing so with their mom and afterwards having a dialogue about the content and themes which is really cool.

Last night my wife had an event to attend so she got a Boboli bread shell for the kid and I. So we made it and I convinced my kid (she’s 11 but adverse to gore and scary things) to finally watch KKFOS. We had a blast and she wasn’t scared.
