New product!

My greetings cards are always popular at markets but they've not been so economical to buy online, due to the postage.

So I've put together a couple of card bundles: 6 different greetings cards based on my designs, and a choice of two options.

Unlike the other Sabbats, Mabon doesn't have a direct line to pre-Christian festivals & traditions. It was only in the 20th century that Mabon became associated with the Autumn Equinox, by Wiccan author & scholar Aiden Kelly.

🍂🧡MABON BLESSINGS 🧡🍂

Today is Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, in the Northern Hemisphere. A time of balance, where day & night are of equal length.

It marks the second harvest - a time for thanksgiving and stock-taking.

Time to get a calendar for next year? I always get a calendar around now, as we start to get appointments & events rolling into the New Year.

New pin badges now on my Etsy! Well actually the Three Hares is a restock, but the other 3 designs are new.

The 'Safe with me' one isn't my usual aesthetic but I really wanted this design as a badge. I'll be making a donation to Safe Space High Peak for each of these sold.

I'm part of The Torrs Collective, a group of New Mills based artists covering a wide range of styles & media!

And this summer we're going on tour! Our first summer event is an exhibition of our work at Rock Mill Centre.

Unfortunately this is of a local building and it definitely will be noticeable if it's mirrored! I'm thinking I might be able to cut out and recarve the offending bit.

Nearing the end of carving a tricky little block, when my husband says:
"Isn't that the wrong way round?"

I forgot to flip the image before carving. I'm an idiot.

What are UK folk that use 2nd class postage planning to do after 28/7 (when RM are reducing the service to alternate days)? I'm not sure that customers will accept the longer delivery times so I'm prob going to change all my orders to Tracked48, and I'll have to absorb the extra cost.

Question for #printmakers on here: one of my brayers (Essdee black handled) has developed a very annoying squeak when rolling, to the extent that I can't cope with using it! Which is a shame as I really like that one. Anyone know of a trick to remove the squeak?! 🤞

Cookworthy Knapp, a.k.a. the 'Nearly There Trees' or the 'Nearly Home Trees'. A familiar sight to folk travelling down to Cornwall!

I'm pretty pleased with this linocut but I'm not convinced that the sky is right.

I'm in love with the ink colour - Powder Blue from #CranfieldColours. I'm not normally a pastelly person but I adore this one.

There are currently two keyring designs - Stag & Green Man - and two pin badge designs - Three Hares & Magpie.
