you don’t understand bro, if we didn’t lie, no one would buy our product 😩
Consider the implications if ChatGPT started saying "I don't know" to even 30% of queries
- a conservative estimate based on the paper's analysis of factual uncertainty in training data. Users accustomed to receiving confident answers to virtually any question would likely abandon such systems rapidly.

Trying out some new stickers and kicking myself for missing some rendering errors on the proofs!
At least I only ordered 10.

And the sentiment still stands 🤑

More brain pieces are in the works 🧠
(Layer 1 is the cerebral cortex portion of a midsaggital view.)

I think i might permanently switch to wood panels over stretched canvas 🤔

Just finished my first @skypeascientist.bsky.social talk with a 2nd grade class in the Bronx.

So fun! Got to talk about the brain, a bit about why animal research is important, and show some cute videos of mice doin' stuff.

The kids were also so excited to see my cat, so we have that in common 😸

Lots of great stuff in San Francisco but these two stretching sea lions were my favorite probably. They sat like that for minutes on end! Loving life.
Several docks with 15-20 sea lions sunbathing on them, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the distant background.

You asked for it, you got it.

Biology is Bigger than Binaries is now on a shirt!

Designed by @franzanth.bsky.social, printed here in Philly on 100% cotton Next Level Tees.

We've got... ironically 2 colors to choose from lmao.

Pre-order open until May 31!

2 versions of the same design, all of which say "Biology is bigger than binaries", with a central image of a bee, a clownfish, and a lily. The one on. the left is pink, the right is orange,

I love these 😍 Now to choose a color.....

I'm not one of those "kids these days" people but really, these are the humans that will be running things in 10-20 years, and they aren't learning how to use their brains.

Depressing on a theoretical and a practical level 🫠

This time 6yr ago, I was writing my PhD and making brain paintings to give my advisors.
Today, I am embarrassed by those early edition pieces 😅 but still very proud of my PhD 🤓

If you've got 2025 grads you're proud of, I'm offering 25% off #sciart at victoriacorbit.com/art-store in May 🎉🎓🤩

Is anyone else unable to throw away reusable containers? My husband thinks I have a problem 😂

Trying to figure out what kind of biology art to draw on this 🐻shaped glass jar I've acquired 🤔
I have an idea but it might get weird...

@edcclayton.bsky.social I think you may have hit on a buzzword in your last comment 😂

I love the concept of a portrait of a brain area 😂 would be thrilled to work on this when you're ready!

I'm pretty pleased with how this little test piece turned out 🧠

Should I start adding anatomy labels to all my art?
I like that it gives them some educational value, but it def changes the aesthetic as well.
