Twenty years ago Nazi tattoos were bad…

15 years ago … Nazi tattoos still bad

Yesterday… Nazi tattoos still bad

Today … nazi tattoos still bad

There is no period of time where Nazi tattoos are good
I finally bit the bullet and got a social media management platform.

Been eyeing this platform for awhile - now is the perfect time to use it.

So excited. This is going to help me get organized so good w/ posting content.
I believe we almost have the design for the podcast logo completed.

Got some good feedback on round 2 of edits. Gotta make some tweaks & go from there.

But I'm excited with how this is shaping out - can't believe this is my life.
The Luther doc is certainly heart-breaking, but I'm glad we have a robust storytelling that was done beautifully.

I cannot wait to see how Sinners do with the re-release. It's so dang good.
I'm looking forward to doing my rewatch for spooky season.

Between that & Luther's doc - still not over either of them.
Man, who we boxing on mom's behalf because we ready!!!
This workshop affirmed what I’m doing & where I’m aiming to go with my newsletter.

It also made me think about the feel + voice for future newsletters for the podcast & stationery brand.

Good 2 hours spent. Now time to chill.
I'm in this workshop for writing & starting a newsletter, and this is such a timely one to be in.

I'm not too sad about being on a Zoom on a Sunday - looking forward to learning from our session lead.
Basically.

I don't get the stealing just to put it in a private collections - feels so useless.
I'm all for the Robin Hood effect in art heists, but trusting whites to not white is my main concern lol.

If white folks want to do the right thing & give these artifacts back to the people who should have them - in full support.

But trusting white folks to not be selfish or foolish... tall order
Now given the kind of people who are typically "successful" in art heists/thievery (palm colored people) - how many of them will actually give the artifacts back to their rightful owners/group of people vs. make money, destroy, or possibly not even understand the history of such pieces?

That's my ?
Art thief is a fascinating subgenre of true crime for me.

Let me get into this.

I know it’s only October, but I’m already thinking about the video series I plan to do for Black History Month.

I narrowed it down to 2 main videos, a teaser trailer, & a concluding video.

And yes, it’s all about #disability.

I’m so thrilled about this idea.
Sitting outside & writing notes for a new workshop idea was so fun.

I want to do a workshop about the topic of my podcast & why it matters.

Haven’t created a new training in awhile & I’m thrilled it’s about this new project & venture.

Is it really working on the weekend if you like it? Lol

Solidarity!! Last week, Indiana University fired the director of student media & halted print on the Indiana Daily Student newspaper. Yesterday, Purdue’s student paper printed the banned edition & drove two hours to deliver it. Incredible www.heraldtimesonline.com/story/news/l...

Solomon is why I peek in here everyday - never disappointed.
I’m so grateful to have come of age during the Neo Soul era.

And fell in love with D’Angelo’s music.

Talk about blessed.
Sitting back & basking in the glory of a successful weekend of the pilot launch.

And thinking - I’m so glad I said no to doing a trip with friends this month.

I knew I’d be tired from the launch. And I am. Good kind of tired.

So glad I don’t have to leave my house. Grateful.
Day 2 of the pilot program for #disabled #college seniors is in the books.

We discussed the importance of requesting accommodations & went through the Intentional Change Theory.

As we wrapped up, an attendee shared, "I’m looking forward to next month."

Me & the team are too.
All you had to tell me was that she was a Virgo. LOL.

I know my people lol.
LOL... here for the innovation.
