This is very important. I often share something I’ve worked on with people whose feedback I really value, and while a handful do respond to it, getting crickets from the rest is a very disheartening thing. Give feedback to your creative friends - it can make their entire day.

to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.

The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. It doesn't matter what you say - they will poison it because YOU said it.

Exciting news! They removed the block of the original cut of #SodorsBadInfluence, so now it’s fully all back in order again in its former glory. Of course the other cut exists as a backup, but I’m really happy about this!
