won't have em for this weekend, but i've been getting a few more people at my table than I'd like lately asking *very pointedly* if i drew everything myself, so i designed a new sticker this afternoon that will hopefully quell some of those concerns.

I was explaining this to someone else but, people who use AI Keep thinking it makes them "just as creative" as a real artist.

But they haven't even cultivated their IMAGINATIONS.

They don't even have the well of *ideas* to pull from

Even just THINKING CREATIVELY is a skill you need to develop

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a heteromultivalent nanogel capable of killing some of the most dangerous bacteria known to medicine- with over 99.9% effectiveness against P. aeruginosa. It also showed strong antibacterial effects against other major threats, including E. coli and MRSA.

A six panel comic, two with three rows of two panels each give her the corgi is digging a hole so that he can bury his bone. In the second panel, he drops his bone into the finished hole, which is so deep, it creates a hole right out the bottom of the panel. When he drops the bone into the hole, it falls right out the panel and into the fourth panel, although he doesn't notice this. In the third panel he turns around and starts filling the hole back up with dirt. In the fourth panel, the hole is full again, but the bone is resting on top, having fallen down from the second panel. In the 5th panel, Dipper examines the bone, looking confused. A little bit of dirt from the third panel is just starting to fall into the top of the frame. In the 6th panel, Dipper is covered in dirt, and looks annoyed

Like just hit a button the says "new prompt" and then hit make song when it comes up with something that sounds interesting! Thoughts?

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

I wish to god every artist and every person who knows artists or buys the work of artists understood all of this.

We don’t live in a society which values or is willing to support creatives, yet it feels entitled to their work.

The art world is NOT a meritocracy, that is certain.

2. It's rare for any creative, including writers, to be able to live solely off their creative income. Moreover, there is no correlation between the creative value of art and the income status of its creator. It's okay to have another gig to eat and pay bills and survive our capitalist hellscape.

Some Hoyo fans are already insisting “even if they use AI VO the actors gave permission like in Anuttacon’s other title Whispers from the Star”

I’ve attached a recent review of Whispers where a user complains the AI refuses to agree the character lives in the future and insists it’s 2025.
A fan replying to someone’s concerns about the use of AI in Varsapura on Reddit: The only potentially gen Al from these was "We're developing a UE5 open-world game. It boasts a cinematic narrative experience, and we'll be introducing Al elements to make the city more vibrant and engaging, delivering an unprecedented immersive experience." but it reads more like interactive Al for NPC, which this listing kinda supports IMO. No actual gen Al for graphics or the like. Also, quite a few mentioned optimization of UE game for different platforms, where Al tools might also come in but not gen Al anyway TLDR: No, there's no signs Hoyo plans to use Gen Al for graphics or voice-overs thus far (And from Track record with Whispers from the Star, even if they decide to use Al voice-overs, it's gonna be only with VA's input and agreement) A positive steam review for AI NPC driven videogame Whispers from the Star, developed by Cai Haoyu the man behind the upcoming Varsapura title: “The biggest problem with this game for me is that Stella doesn't pretend she is living in the future. If you ask her what year it is, she says 2025. She will then argue with you that FTL technology doesn't exist despite the fact that she is, according to her own words, light years away from earth. If you want to pretend to be a character like a future scientist, engineer, etc... She will just argue with you about technology like it's 2025. It's fun talking to a character/pc and having them respond to you like a real person... But her not being able to pretend she is in the future is a problem. I still recommend the game but it's kind of disappointing.”
