today a gigantic moose slept then snacked in our front yard in Anchorage Alaska for 5.5 hours. what an amazing animal - & so magnificent. our dog Johannes was curious but quiet. what an honor. We all need a dose of goodness these days. keep speaking out against cruelty & tyranny.

I am so heartbroken. The violence against Jews for celebrating a holiday is nothing but antisemitism plain and simple. My heart is with all my fellow Jews worldwide. And having been in Bondi Beach just over 1 week ago I am even more heartbroken and shaken up. I am thinking about all of them.

I don’t talk about films much here because frankly, I’m intimidated so I keep most of my feelings about the medium to myself, but Rob Reiner was everything. Everything. My heart aches for his family & friends, his creative & activist community, and for all of us. A crushing loss to our culture
